Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Procurement Systems Manager to lead agentic AI expansion within procurement and to oversee the migration from PeopleSoft to a cloud-based ERP platform.

The role demands strategic thinking with strong execution skills to translate business needs into scalable system solutions, drive continuous improvement, and support cross-functional teams through change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field
• 5-8 years of experience in procurement operations, procurement systems, or related roles
• Strong experience in Purchase to Pay processes and ERP systems; cloud ERP platforms preferred
• Demonstrated experience leading system implementations or major enhancements
• Exposure to or experience with AI-driven tools, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence without direct authority

Responsibilities

• Lead expansion and continuous improvement of agentic AI solutions within procurement operations
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI-driven use cases
• Oversee maintenance, performance monitoring, and optimization of AI tools
• Own procurement enhancements within PeopleSoft, focusing on process optimization and automation
• Gather requirements and translate them into functional system improvements
• Partner with IT and external vendors to design, test, and implement system changes
• Ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and alignment with procurement policies and controls
• Lead ERP migration efforts from PeopleSoft to a cloud-based platform
• Represent procurement in cross-functional ERP project teams and drive future-state design
• Provide ongoing system support and develop training materials and SOPs
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure system performance and improvements
• Foster accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence
