Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Procurement Systems Manager to lead procurement technology strategy and the rollout of AI-driven capabilities. This role focuses on optimizing P2P workflows, orchestrating system improvements, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver efficient procurement operations.

The position centers on migrating from PeopleSoft to a cloud-based ERP, partnering with IT and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions and measure success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement operations and/or procurement systems.
• Strong Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) experience including purchase orders and procurement workflows.
• Experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft preferred).
• Experience leading system implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
• Exposure to AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work across teams and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leading AI and automation initiatives within procurement.
• Managing and improving procurement systems, including PeopleSoft.
• Gathering business requirements and turning them into system solutions.
• Partnering with IT and vendors on system enhancements.
• Supporting NYU's migration from PeopleSoft to a cloud-based ERP.

• Creating SOPs, training materials, and documentation.

• Leading a small team of buyers and driving continuous improvement.

Location: 2x onsite (Wed/Thur) Park Avenue, New York, NY 10016

Working Hours: 9am-5pm

Interview: 3 rounds

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years in procurement operations and/or procurement systems
• Strong Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) experience, including purchase orders and procurement workflows
• Experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft preferred)
• Experience leading system implementations, upgrades, or enhancements (any other software they bring in)
• Exposure to AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives (come up with agents for processes, influence the team to use it)
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work across teams and influence stakeholders

Plusses:

• ERP cloud migration experience (moving to cloud in the next few years)
• Experience with cloud-based ERP platforms
• Familiarity with AI-powered procurement tools or intelligent automation
