Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field

• Strong experience in Purchase to Pay processes and ERP systems; cloud ERP platforms preferred
• Demonstrated experience leading system implementations or major enhancements
• Exposure to or experience with AI-driven tools, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence without direct authority

Responsibilities

• Lead expansion and continuous improvement of agentic AI solutions within procurement operations

Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Procurement Systems Manager. In this role, the successful candidate as the Procurement Systems Manager will play a critical role at the intersection of procurement operations, technology, and innovation. This individual leads a specialized team and will lead the expansion, maintenance, and adoption of agentic AI capabilities within procurement, while also overseeing system enhancements and supporting the organizations transition from PeopleSoft to a cloud-based ERP platform. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution skills who can translate business needs into scalable system solutions, drive continuous improvement, and effectively support cross‑functional teams through change.

Job Responsibilities

Agentic AI Strategy & Enablement

• Lead the expansion and continuous improvement of agentic AI solutions within procurement operations
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI-driven use cases that improve efficiency, decision‑making, and user experience
• Oversee ongoing maintenance, performance monitoring, and optimization of agentic AI tools
• Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting, enhancements, and user support related to AI capabilities

Drive adoption through training, documentation, and change management initiatives

• Own and manage all procurement‑related enhancements within PeopleSoft, focused on process optimization and automation
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional system improvements
• Partner with IT and external vendors to design, test, and implement system changes
• Ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and alignment with procurement policies and controls

Continuously evaluate opportunities to streamline workflows and improve user experience

• Serve as the procurement operations lead for the ERP migration from PeopleSoft to a cloud‑based platform
• Represent procurement in cross‑functional ERP project teams, ensuring business needs are clearly defined and delivered
• Lead process mapping, gap analysis, and future‑state design for procurement workflows
• Support system configuration, testing (UAT), and deployment activities

Operational Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide ongoing system support to procurement teams, ensuring efficient and effective use of tools and platforms
• Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure system performance and process improvements
• Identify and implement best practices to enhance procurement operations
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence.
• Establish clear performance expectations and measurable objectives for team members.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience supporting or leading ERP cloud migrations
• Familiarity with agentic AI or intelligent automation in procurement or supply chain
• Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management
• Change management experience in large‑scale system transformations
• Team management experience would be a plus

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $101,493.51 - $175,076.17 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
