Job summary

FTI is seeking a Procurement Agent II in Opelika, Alabama to provide procurement support from quotation to delivery while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree in Supply Chain or a related field and 2-5 years of purchasing experience in the electrical industry.

The role involves coordinating deliveries, analyzing quotations, and managing vendor relationships. Industry-leading benefits will be provided to team members and their families.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Purchasing/Buying experience in electrical industry or relevant business.
• Travel less than 10%, with limited periodic travel to different FTI office/jobsite locations.
• Work hours from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday-Friday; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement support from quotation to delivery.
• Assist in the coordination of material/equipment deliveries.
• Identify, qualify, and contact potential vendors to receive bids or quotes.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Basic knowledge of electrical construction trade

Exceptional customer service skills

Education

Associate’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or relevant trade
