Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) seeks a Procurement Specialist I to manage operational procurement for a Business Unit, handling P2P processes and supplier relationships. You will support cost management, supplier diversity, and performance tracking while collaborating with internal partners to meet service levels at the lowest total cost.

Responsibilities include executing RFx, negotiating contracts, and ensuring SOW alignment with APS compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related discipline with 2 years' experience; or six years' equivalent experience.
• Exposure to strategic supply chain management and MRP systems.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with RFx processes and contracting practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact with Business Unit partners and suppliers to ensure a continuous flow of quality services at the lowest total cost.
• Execute P2P process for services to maximize value and monitor performance.
• Lead RFx processes, evaluate proposals and negotiate contracts up to $5M with Business Unit partners.
