Job summary

Worthington Enterprises is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management across multiple locations. You will analyze spending, manage PO creation, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective purchases that meet quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in procurement within manufacturing environments, proficiency with ERP and SAP, and experience with spend analytics.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in procurement or related functions.
• Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments.
• Experience with spend analysis and procurement reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP and purchasing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure indirect materials, equipment, services across locations.
• Manage purchasing from supplier quotation to PO creation and delivery coordination.
• Evaluate suppliers and sourcing options for cost, quality, service and continuity.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships; act as primary purchasing contact.
• Support onboarding, contract administration, and compliance activities.
• Monitor supplier performance and open orders; expedite critical purchases.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Finance and Supply Chain to understand requirements.
• Prepare spend reports, supplier metrics, savings opportunities and KPIs.
• Drive procurement process improvements and reporting capabilities.
• Ensure activities comply with policies, standards, audits and regulatory obligations.
• Other duties as assigned.
