Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist in California to manage procurement of electrical equipment, construction materials, and subcontracts for multiple projects, ensuring value and timely delivery.

You will review requisitions, source materials, solicit quotes, generate purchase orders, and track orders. A high school diploma and 2 years procurement experience are expected. This role offers full-time employment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, policies, and accounting.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
• Oral and written communication skills as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Receive verbal and written requisitions for materials and equipment from project managers and field operations.
• Review and source materials and equipment in accordance with established company practices and procedures.
• Solicit quotations from vendors; review and present findings to management.
• Generate and distribute purchase orders.
• Track and expedite all existing orders; update scheduling in procurement system.
• Support estimating by obtaining budgetary quotations for materials and equipment.
• Prepare submittal documentation for project managers.
• Perform additional duties as directed by managers.
