Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six months of related procurement/order management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and resolve routine problems.
• Proficient with business software, email, and electronic records.
• Basic math skills for quantities and percentages.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with others.
• Reliable transportation to the Indianapolis office.

Aufgaben

• Create, review, and update orders and records in Salesforce.
• Verify order details including part numbers, quantities, pricing, lead times, and required documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers for acknowledgements, status updates, shipping information, and tracking.
• Follow up on outstanding information, approaching deadlines, and overdue orders.
• Keep customers and internal teams informed of progress, delays, and changes.
• Identify order discrepancies, document issues, and coordinate resolution through closure.
• Escalate supplier delays or unresolved concerns according to procedures.
• Support Purchasing and Customer Service email inboxes as assigned.
• Assist with reviewing inventory, usage, purchasing opportunities, and forecasting needs.
• Maintain accurate records and complete data entry promptly.
• Follow company purchasing, quality, and order management procedures.
