Job summary

Carta, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist to manage requests, approvals, and signatures from start to finish. You will oversee POs, contracts, and system records, while building AI-enabled workflows to reduce cycle time and manual work.

You’ll report to the Head of Procurement and collaborate with a fast-paced team. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in procurement or sourcing, experience with procure-to-pay, and a knack for improving processes with automation and AI tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management
• Experience with procure-to-pay processes and supplier issue resolution
• Hands-on experience improving workflows with AI tools or automation
• Contract negotiation and posting lower-risk purchases
• Strong project management and ability to handle multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Keep purchase requests, approvals, and contract signatures moving, and follow up on blockers
• Keep contracts, POs, and system records in sync when scope/term/value changes
• Identify supplier issues across contracts, POs, invoices and payments and secure fixes
• Process straightforward purchases from quote to signed agreement
• Build, test, and maintain AI-enabled procurement workflows
• Own projects to improve procurement platform and processes
• Track cycle time, rework, and time saved to guide improvements
• Support procurement managers across the team
