Job summary

Anthropic Limited, a leader in AI safety, seeks a Procurement Operations Business Partner to own the software purchasing lifecycle—from request to signed contract and PO, ensuring accurate accruals and clean month-end spend data.

This high-volume role partners with Security, Legal, and Accounting, managing renewals, vendor reviews, and tool onboarding, helping define an AI-native procurement function for Claude and related tools.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of owning a high-volume purchasing portfolio end-to-end in a procure-to-pay and intake platform.
• Solid working knowledge of accrual accounting as it applies to purchasing and GL coding.
• Experience buying and managing software or SaaS at scale, including license models.
• Experience owning the tool and vendor lifecycle end-to-end, from intake through security review to renewal.

Responsibilities

• Own the purchasing process for high-volume requests, renewals, and license changes.
• Review requests for vendor records, contracting, spend categorization, and service dates.
• Coordinate security reviews, legal contract reviews, and pledge alignment with purchase orders.
• Track renewals, true ups, and seat counts across portfolios and ensure proper accruals.
