Job summary

California Closets in St. Rose, LA seeks a Purchasing Coordinator to order materials, track deliveries, and ensure accuracy of job supplies. You will work with production and operations, support quarterly inventory counts, vendor relations, and payment processes, and assist with shop coordination.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4pm with rare overtime; on-site work in our office and warehouse. Strong reading of materials lists and clear communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of purchasing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple projects.
• On-site work at St. Rose office and warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders and communicate delivery times.
• Collaborates with operations and sales team to ensure materials on site for installation.
• Responsible for quarterly inventory counts and maintaining stock levels in distribution centers.
• Inspect quality and note receipt of items and report to General Manager.
