Job summary

Carolina Handling, LLC seeks a Procurement Coordinator to coordinate and execute procurement for non-resale products and services across the company. You will research products and suppliers, develop bid requirements and statements of work, select suppliers, monitor performance, manage contracts, and control inventory while aligning purchases with cost, quality, lead times, and warranties.

You will also support vehicle fleet and technician tool outfitting programs.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of three years in Purchasing or Supply Chain Operations; additional experience in business operations preferred.
• CPMS/CPM, CPIM, or APICS certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrates strong planning, organization, and attention to detail.
• Shows vision, goal-setting, and ownership with focus on continuous improvement and change implementation.
• A persuasive negotiator with ability to manage supplier relationships and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of non-resale products and services across the company.
• Support vehicle and fleet management, including vehicle setups and recalls.
• Manage inventory and supplier performance; maintain clean, organized purchasing warehouse space.
• Handle administrative duties including Concur expense reporting and corporate card activities.
• Generate monthly Purchasing Department metrics and assist with corporate projects as needed.
• Stay informed on new products and services by engaging suppliers and reviewing trade publications.
