Job summary

UtiliQuest, LLC is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to support our South Carolina team. You will oversee equipment procurement, tracking, and asset records while collaborating with Operations and Fleet teams to uphold safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks with strong communication. Some travel (30-50%) is expected across the Georgia region, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• 1+ year experience in automotive fleet services, logistics or related field.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Experience with title and registration compliance in fleet settings preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Suite.
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitors fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Evaluates equipment condition and risk factors according to DOT requirements and internal procedures.
• Troubleshoots repair problems, reviews work orders, and provides cost estimates and technical guidance.
• Tracks and coordinates warranty repairs and maintenance with outside vendors.
• Oversees asset accountability and drives process improvement initiatives.
• Assigns trucks to UtiliQuest employees and maintains distribution lists and fuel cards.
• Monitors fleet compliance and handles registrations, titles, insurances, and state inspections.
• Coordinates internal title transfers for state changes and new purchases.
• Conducts periodic vehicle inspections across the Georgia region with 30–50% travel.
• Manages physical assets and allocates resources to meet future needs.
• Maintains relationships with vendors and corporate representatives.
• Acts as the point of contact for vehicle violations and toll queries.
• Applies critical thinking to analyze problems and meet deadlines.
• Maintains accurate fleet asset records with data integrity and detail.
