Vallen is hiring a Customer Service Representative focused on procurement at a customer site in Zebulon, NC. You will ensure product availability, evaluate suppliers, and place vendor orders to meet customer needs and maintain supply chain integrity.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work with ERP/SAP systems. Candidates should be customer-service oriented and capable of independent work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in procurement preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS-Office and ability to learn ERP/SAP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Willing to learn and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Procure goods to meet customer demand and align with purchasing strategies.
• Assess orders to expedite or de-expedite for on-time delivery.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Evaluate vendors and items to meet specifications, price, and delivery.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of supplied products.
