Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at the Broken Arrow location. In this role, you will perform procurement activities to meet customer demand, place requisitions and orders, and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality.

You will work with ERP and inventory systems, maintain accurate records, and seek opportunities for cost savings. The position requires a high school diploma and strong customer service, with the ability to work

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years procurement experience preferred.
Excellent customer service.
Computer skills and ability to learn ERP and Inventory Management applications.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency with MS-Office products.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willing to learn.

Responsibilities

Perform procurement activities to meet customer demand and align with purchasing strategies.
Assess orders to expedite or de-expedite for delivery optimization.
Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
Research and select vendors and items meeting specs, price, and delivery standards.
Monitor quality and timeliness of products; coordinate returns/replacements.
Follow up on purchase orders and communicate status to customers.
