Job summary

Susquehanna is seeking a procurement attorney to join our in-house counsel team at our Bala Cynwyd headquarters. You will work with the purchasing team to advise on procurement and commercial matters, drafting and negotiating vendor agreements for software, data, services, and hardware.

You will partner with information security and compliance to address vendor-related issues and guide business units on risk, while helping streamline the contract review process.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of procurement or commercial contracts experience.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Strong organization, planning, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication with all levels of management.
• Independent and proactive with minimal supervision.
• Discretion handling confidential information.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to work additional and flexible hours.
• No visa sponsorship available now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline legal support to the purchasing team on procurement and vendor matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for software, technology, market data, professional services, equipment, and other goods and services.
• Advise on contractual terms, legal risks, and practical solutions that support business objectives.
• Partner with information security, compliance, and other internal teams to address issues arising in vendor relationships.
• Assist with streamlining the purchasing and contract review process.
