Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Procurement Attorney to support a broad range of U.S. vendor engagements. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors and partners while collaborating with privacy, information security, and risk teams.

The role reports to Managing Counsel and is Hybrid, requiring in-person work at an office location at least two days a week. You must have a JD, an active license, and at least 3+ years of experience in vendor contracts. The U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited school
• Active license to practice law in applicable state(s) by start date
• Experience reviewing and negotiating vendor/procurement contracts including IT, facilities, marketing and HR
• Interest in global data privacy laws and regulations
• Creative problem-solving with business risk in mind
• Solid commercial judgment and ability to advise on complex issues

Responsibilities

• Partner and collaborate with stakeholders across the business
• Support vendor contract negotiations
• Work with cross-functional teams including privacy, information security, third party risk management, insurance, and more
• Provide guidance when business or legal issues arise during contract relationships
• Make business-oriented legal decisions and recommendations for a public company with global reach
