Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Procurement Attorney to join the Legal team. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor and partner contracts and collaborating with privacy, information security, and risk teams.

This hybrid role requires in-person work at a TransUnion office for two days per week. Requirements include a JD from an accredited school, an active license to practice law in the relevant state(s), and at least 3+ years of experience in vendor/procurement contracts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating vendor/procurement contracts
• JD from an accredited school
• Active license to practice law in applicable state(s) by start date
• Experience negotiating IT, Facilities, Marketing, HR and other professional services contracts
• Interest in global data privacy laws and regulations
• Creative problem-solving with business risk management focus
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to advise on legal/business implications
• Interest in emerging technologies and solving complex problems

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across the business
• Support vendor contract negotiations
• Collaborate with privacy, information security, third party risk management, insurance, and other teams
• Provide guidance on business or legal issues during contract relationships
• Make impactful legal decisions and advise on business-friendly risk mitigation
