TransUnion LLC is seeking a Counsel, Legal role to manage vendor contracts and regulatory issues. You will partner with privacy, IT, and risk teams to craft compliant, business-friendly agreements.

Requires a JD, active license, and 3+ years of contract experience. Strong judgment, analytical thinking, and a drive to innovate within a global data privacy framework are essential.

• Partner and collaborate with stakeholders across the business

Required Knowledge and Experiences

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited school
• Qualified candidates must have an active license to practice law and be in good standing in the applicable state(s) of employment by the position start date (or as otherwise permitted by state rules)
• At all times of employment, qualified candidates must remain in good standing and maintain an active license to practice law in their applicable state(s) of employment
• Experience reviewing and negotiating vendor/procurement contracts, inclusive of negotiating commercial and legal terms in IT, Facilities, Marketing, HR, and other professional services and commodity contracts
• Interest in global data privacy laws and regulations
• Creative problem-solving ability with a focus on achieving business-friendly solutions while managing company risk
• Solid commercial judgment, including the ability to anticipate, analyze, and make recommendations
• An interest in emerging technologies, a desire to solve complex problems and a curiosity to explore new ideas

Pay Scale Information: The U.S. base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $150,000 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
