Job summary

McLaren Health Care seeks an organized procurement clerk to manage automated and manual order placement, PO confirmation, and match exception resolution. You will create and process all orders for capital, patient care, service and urgent needs, and maintain procurement records for a centralized PO processing center.

The role requires close coordination with departments, buyers and suppliers, tracking pricing, backorders and shipping, and ensuring accurate PO data daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with purchase order processing is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Place automated and manual orders daily to vendors via phone, fax, email, or EDI.
• Maintain logs for PO validation and data integrity.
• Research pricing and product information to ensure PO accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
