Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Peoria, IL for a Procurement and Maintenance Coordinator. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety. You’ll manage procurement activities while also assisting with maintenance tasks and coordinating facility repairs. You’ll work closely with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure we’re getting the best value—whether it's ordering equipment or overseeing property improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase goods and services in line with company policies
- Request and compare quotes for products, services, and facility repairs
- Coordinate with contractors for building maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects
- Track inventory levels and monitor delivery timelines
- Analyze pricing and seek cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate purchasing and vendor documentation
- Assist with internal/external audits
- Perform basic facility maintenance tasks as needed
- Ensure vendor compliance and maintain strong working relationships
What We're Looking For:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures and maintenance coordination
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 2+ years of purchasing experience
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards
- Experience working with contractors or vendors for facility needs
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable with extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking
- Able to access various facility areas as needed
