Job summary

Link Snacks is seeking a Maintenance Lead in South Dakota to oversee maintenance workers across one or more crafts. You will plan work orders, train staff, and ensure safe, reliable plant operations in line with policies and procedures.

The role emphasizes directing start-up, maintenance checks, quality control, and continuous improvement while adhering to Lean, HACCP, and SSOPs. Supervisory duties and strong communication are essential.

• Worked in General Maintenance
• Worked in a Fabrication Shop
• Plumbing knowledge
• Electrician knowledge
• Worked as a Welder
• Worked as a Supervisor
• Heating and Air Conditioning knowledge
• Worked with Trained Operator until Lead Approval

Responsibilities

• Operate and service all Processing Machines.
• Service all conveyors on processing side.
• Complete all daily preventative maintenance.
• Follow good manufacturing practices and HACCP training, along with company SOPs and SSOPs.
• Follow Lean Manufacturing Processes; team building, consistency in high quality, preventative maintenance, good workplace conditions, productive work, etc.
• Manage start-up to ensure equipment is in proper operating condition.
• Perform checks at start of shift and for new products; document on paperwork, code date, correct label, etc.
• Follow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals.
• Ensure product conforms to specifications.
• Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper disposition.
• Prevent and minimize rework and/or inedible.
• Monitor workflow to maximize machine output efficiencies.
• Keep accurate records of products produced and materials used.
• Suggest improvements; continuously improve the quality of all support activities.
• Tasks will vary as situations and demands change.
