Processing Department Assistant Team Lead (Finance)

Position Overview

The Assistant Team Lead will be expected to lead, motivate, and facilitate learning for Members to achieve productivity results, improve individual skills, and enhance teamwork. They will ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sanitation requirements and establish effective relationships with all Members to foster an environment of innovation, cooperation, and ownership in problem-solving.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Perform End-of-the-Day paperwork
• Manage fat inventory
• Assist with coaching Members in safety, food safety, quality, and development
• Ensure relevant parties are aware of issues affecting safety, quality, cost, and customer service
• Encourage cross-training and Member growth through Skill Blocks
• Assist/Lead daily team meetings
• Handle Hold processes within SAP
• Complete all other duties as needed

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience in providing positive feedback and coaching for performance improvement
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance areas (Human Safety, USDA, HACCP)
• Computer skills preferred in SAP, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt priorities
• Desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
