Job summary
Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to identify issues and improve reliability of processes and equipment in the Fill & Finish Expansions area. You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance, operate and monitor equipment, and support reliability projects while complying with safety and environmental requirements.
The role reports to the manager and offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent maintenance experience required.
- Knowledge of compressed air, controls, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation or robotics preferred.
- Experience with automated records systems such as SAP and reading wiring diagrams preferred.
- Computer literacy and ability to interpret technical documents required.
- Support planning and execution of maintenance activities to ensure process performance.
Responsibilities
- Actively improve performance & reliability of process equipment.
- Restore function to equipment in an effective & technically correct manner.
- Actively participate in & support Event Response.
- Perform corrective & preventive maintenance on assigned process.
- Operate, monitor, and control equipment, systems & processes.
- Support & implement system/equipment reliability improvement projects.
- Support & assist in all aspects of process operations.
- Record & review production data in Batch Production Records & forms.
- Follow safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
