Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S is hiring for an Industrial Maintenance role at our Clayton, NC facility. The position focuses on identifying issues, improving reliability of systems and equipment, and supporting the operation of the designated process to minimize downtime and ensure production targets are met.

Responsibilities include performing corrective and preventive maintenance, operating and monitoring equipment, and contributing to process performance projects.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent required.
• High School diploma with minimum 2 years equipment maintenance experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Knowledgeable in systems: Compressed Air, Electro-Mechanical controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation/robotics preferred.
• Experience with automated records systems such as SAP and reading schematics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively improve performance and reliability of process equipment.
• Restore function to equipment in a timely, technically correct manner.
• Participate in Event Response and corrective/preventative maintenance.
• Operate, monitor, and control assigned equipment and processes.
• Support reliability improvement projects and maintenance coordination.
• Record and review production data in Batch Production Records and forms.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements.
