Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks a Maintenance Technician to identify potential issues and support improvement of reliability for designated process systems. You will assist in operating the process with low to moderate complexity issues, monitor equipment, and participate in events to maintain uptime.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent experience. Proficiency with SAP and instrumentation, plus strong safety knowledge, will help you succeed in a GMP

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or relevant field required
• In lieu of Associate’s Degree may consider a High School diploma (or GED) with minimum of two years of equipment maintenance experience
• Knowledgeable in the following systems: Compressed Air, Electro-Mechanical controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and/or robotics preferred
• Ability & experience with automated records systems such as SAP, schematics, wiring diagrams & other technical documents preferred
• Computer literacy preferred
• Support planning & execution of process functions & assist in coordination of planned & corrective maintenance activities to ensure successful process performance a plus

Responsibilities

• Actively improve performance & reliability of process equipment
• Restore function to equipment in an effective & technically correct manner
• Actively participate in & support Event Response
• Perform corrective & preventative maintenance on assigned process
• Operate, monitor, control equipment, systems & processes assigned
• Support & implement system/equipment reliability improvement projects
• Support & assist in all aspects of process operations
• Record & review production data in Batch Production Records (BPRs) & associated forms
• Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
• Other duties as assigned
