Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Clayton, NC, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to identify issues and improve reliability of process equipment in a GMP manufacturing setting. You will assist in operating and maintaining automated systems supporting injectable treatments and participate in improvement projects.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent experience, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, plus SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years experience in pharma maintenance preferred.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, diagrams and technical docs.
• Knowledgeable in automated records systems such as SAP (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify and fix reliability issues to minimize downtime of designated process equipment.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on assigned process equipment.
• Operate, monitor, and control equipment and processes.
• Support system/equipment reliability improvement projects and participate in Event Response.
• Record and review production data in Batch Production Records and forms.
• Ensure safety and environmental requirements are followed.
