Job summary

Cenovus Energy is seeking a Process Shift Supervisor (PSS) at the Lima Refinery to lead a shift, ensure safe and compliant operation, and optimize daily performance. The role focuses on safety, process knowledge, and team leadership while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in refinery operations, OSHA/DOT familiarity, and a track record of coaching teams to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
• High School Diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• Ohio 3rd Class Stationary Steam Engineers License or willingness to obtain.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and DOT rules; refinery process knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift team with daily assignments, coaching, and mentoring.
• Use production plan to hit daily operational targets.
• Coordinate safe, reliable, compliant operation of equipment.
• Prepare equipment safely for maintenance.
• Troubleshoot abnormal equipment operation.
• Conduct audits to ensure policy compliance.
