Job summary

Enviva LP is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient production. The role involves task assignment, monitoring performance, and addressing site issues to maintain high output and compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a team, with readiness for shift work in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years industrial/manufacturing experience/wood products background.
• Must be proficient in basic computer knowledge.
• Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a team player/previous management a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the plant delivering key performance indicators (safety, quality, production and cost).
• Maintain documentation on employee performance and accountability to drive performance.
• Ensure a safe working environment is established and maintained.
• Provide direction to team regarding duties and goals.
• Ensure paperwork & status reporting are completed timely and accurately
• Ensure daily and consistent communications and shift meetings.
• Perform work assigned by Production Manager to ensure successful operation.
