Job summary

Midwest AgEnergy Group is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to perform preventive, predictive, routine and emergency maintenance on process plant equipment at our North Dakota facility. You will handle mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.

You will contribute to proactive maintenance projects, assist in design and fabrication tasks, and coordinate with operations for issue resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of vocational/technical training in welding, pipefitting, electrical, electronic, or instrumentation and controls.
• An associate degree can substitute two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, routine, and emergency maintenance on process plant equipment.
• Assist in design, review, and fabrication of items used throughout the plant; weld and cut with acetylene and arc welding equipment.
• Communicate maintenance issues to operations and propose changes to improve equipment operation.
• Attend daily maintenance meetings and prioritize maintenance activities.
• Maintain tools, shop equipment, and cleanliness in the shop and on site.
• Enter and close work orders in CMMS; manage parts and basic warehouse tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and support.
• Contribute to development of operation and maintenance programs for safe, reliable plant operation.
• Ensure compliance with environmental policies and safety programs; participate in emergency drills.
• Oversee contractor activities as needed.
