Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our plant operations in North Dakota. You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance, execute PM schedules, and repair equipment to maintain maximum production rates.

On‑call duties and weekend work may be required to ensure continuous operation. Ideal candidates bring hands‑on experience with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, attention to safety, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High School or vocational diploma required for this maintenance role.
• Basic PLC and drive training preferred.
• Experience with NEC, UL508A, NFPA 79 codes and Lock Out Tag Out safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machines and controls (extruders, corrugators, motors).
• Maintain PM schedules and repair work orders to maximize production.
• Order replacement parts and control components as needed.
• Support CMMS performance through timely PMs and repairs.
• First responder to machine problems; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure safe operation of plant equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives.
• Adhere to daily management directives and plant priorities.
