Job summary

Glacial Lakes Energy, LLC in Aberdeen, SD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our renewable fuels operation. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant process and utility equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience (ethanol plant preferred) and familiarity with 4-20 mA instrumentation and control systems. Training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical training in mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical or welding preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in industrial maintenance; ethanol plant experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with 4-20 mA instrumentation and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all plant process and utility equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, electrical components, and grain/elevator systems.
• Maintain and repair centrifuges, drying equipment, boilers, cooling towers, chillers, air compressors, and related systems.
• Conduct welding and pipe fitting as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations and safety protocols.
• Respond to maintenance call-ins as required.
