Job summary

RiteScreen is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure production equipment runs safely and efficiently in Fargo, ND. This full-time role involves proactively maintaining machinery, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs while upholding safety standards and quality practices.

You will develop PM systems, repair mechanical components, and support plant upgrades, with opportunities for growth and on-the-job training in a team-oriented, safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of motors, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to read safety rules, instructions, manuals, and drawings.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, welding equipment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Develop a preventive maintenance system to keep equipment running.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and verify production machinery and plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedules and manuals.
• Repair mechanical components such as bearings, belts, chains, gears, motors, pumps, and valves.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues within training scope.
• Read drawings and manuals; assemble and modify equipment as directed.
• Operate welding, fabrication, and machine-shop equipment as trained.
• Maintain facility systems and perform basic repairs.
