Job summary

Midwest AgEnergy Group is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative, predictive, routine, and emergency maintenance on process plant equipment across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and a disciplined approach to detailed work.

Work hours are rotating 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with an on-call schedule including evenings and weekends;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Within one-hour drive time of the plant location.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Two years of vocational/technical training in welding, pipefitting, electrical, electronic, or instrumentation and controls; an associate degree can substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs on process plant equipment to maintain plant reliability; use hand and power tools and other equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and project work; assist in design, review, and fabrication of items used in the plant; welding and cutting as needed.
