Job summary

Qualifications

• Electrical knowledge ranging from 110 to 480 volts.
• Welding knowledge of alloys including stainless steel and equipment knowledge (bearings, shafts, bolts).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Sustained physical effort to move through work areas and supervise/assist operations.
• Ability to identify and resolve food safety violations or product quality issues and escalate as needed.
• Operate isolation devices and read gauges to verify measurements.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety practices in maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Examine, test, maintain and repair plant machinery to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Inspect, maintain and repair cooling and heating systems.
• Repair and install pipes, fittings, fixtures as required.
• Maintain and repair pumps, valves and motors as required.
• Record and log maintenance repairs and inspections.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plant machinery and utilities in compliance with regulations.
• Construct and repair production facilities and fixtures where needed.
• Follow housekeeping practices and maintain tools and equipment.
• Operate company vehicle and lifting equipment as required.
• Assist with production process support as directed by Plant or Maintenance Manager.
