Job summary

Tahoe Forest Health System seeks an Improvement Coach and Facilitator to advance a culture of continuous improvement across the health system. You will coach, facilitate, train teams, and support improvement projects, focusing on process, outcomes, and patient and staff experience.

Under supervision of the Director Process Improvement, you will map processes, conduct root cause analysis, and help sustain gains, coordinating with frontline staff and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of at least one structured improvement methodology (e.g., Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Model for Improvement).
• Experience coaching and facilitating; ability to deliver training; strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach staff and teams in applying Tahoe Forest's improvement approach to build problem-solving capability.
• Facilitate improvement events, workshops, and structured problem-solving activities with planning and follow-through.
• Deliver improvement education and training through workshops, onboarding, and learning sessions.
• Coordinate measurement activities with leadership and BI to track performance and communicate results.
• Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and reporting tools; support project communications.
