Job summary

Tahoe Forest Health System is seeking an Improvement Coach to advance a culture of continuous improvement across the health system. You will coach, facilitate, train, and support improvement projects, partnering with frontline staff and leaders to apply Lean/LSS methods and track performance.

You will help teams map processes, analyze root causes, design tests, and sustain gains while aligning with organizational learning and reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of at least one structured improvement methodology (e.g., Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Model for Improvement)
• Experience in coaching and facilitation
• Ability to deliver training
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
• Ability to interpret and communicate basic performance measures and improvement data
• Ability to document and measure results

Responsibilities

• Coaches staff, leaders, and teams in applying Tahoe Forest improvement methods
• Facilitates improvement events, workshops, and problem-solving activities
• Supports measurement, dashboards, and reporting for improvement projects
• Coordinates project actions, progress tracking, and organizational learning
• Promotes accountability and ownership for improvement within teams
