Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 3 years of experience leading quality and process improvement in clinical settings with consultative, communication, coaching, facilitation and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of Lean tools and concepts such as PDSA, A3 thinking, Daily Problem Solving at front line, Waste, 5S, Standard Work.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with data analysis, report writing and project planning abilities.
• Oral and written communication skills including training, coaching, and facilitating.
• Knowledge of inpatient and clinic operations.
• Just In Time (JIT), process flow techniques, and Six Sigma knowledge.
• Project management experience in process transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through planning, coordinating and implementing improvement efforts, ensuring gains are sustained and measured.
• Facilitate diagramming and evaluation of processes, identify gaps and root causes.
• Coach leaders and staff to elevate Lean capabilities across the organization.
• Develop metrics to measure process performance and perform cost-benefit analyses.
• Survey best practices and drive process improvements.
• Deliver training courses on measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
• Consult with leaders to apply re-engineering techniques to improve performance and quality.
