Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines, LP in Houston seeks a Business Process Analyst to lead cross-functional process redesign and digital tool adoption across operations, engineering, project execution, and corporate functions.

The successful candidate will drive structured analysis, facilitate workshops, and deliver measurable improvements using Lean/Six Sigma and enterprise systems. A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business process analysis or operational excellence roles.
  • Proficiency in BPMN and Visio or similar process-modeling tools.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Experience writing clear functional requirements and user stories.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Document current-state processes across business functions, identifying handoffs, cycle-time drivers, rework loops, and manual workarounds.
  • Design future-state processes that leverage digital tools to eliminate waste and improve accuracy.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with IT’s solutions architects and data engineers to align process design with enterprise architecture and data standards.
  • Measure post-implementation performance against baselines and report realized value.
