The team focuses on delivering robust, well-understood crystallization processes to support clinical trials and commercialization, with opportunities to publish and present research outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in chemical engineering or closely related field.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time.
• Hands-on experience in crystallization process design and scale-up.
• Experience with online and offline analytical techniques and PAT.
• Strong problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate process design and unit operation knowledge based on engineering principles.
• Ensure successful scale-up of processes through fundamental engineering principles.
• Design and execute laboratory experiments including reactors for crystallization design.
• Develop drug substance processes and manufacturing technologies for API properties.
• Leverage PAT and analytical technologies to improve crystallization processes.
• Apply modeling to characterize kinetics, mechanisms and separations.
• Transfer process information to internal/external sites and provide oversight.
• Author and maintain laboratory notebooks and technical reports.
• Stay informed about new technology and implement improvements.
• Publish original research through peer-reviewed articles and conferences.
