Job summary

CHT USA is seeking a Process Engineer to design, develop, and maintain safe, sustainable processes that boost reliability and capacity through LEAN/Six Sigma principles. The role also ensures PSM compliance and coordinates with R&D, safety, and production as part of a cross-functional team.

Travel may be required; you will manage capital projects, partner with external contractors, and translate business goals into actionable process improvements across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of process engineering with a project management focus.
• Experience with PSM programs and safe handling of hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D to lead process improvement on production.
• Coordinate safety, quality, regulatory, and production for safe processes.
• Review and scale up production lines; plan cost-effective processes.
• Plan and conduct product and process experiments.
• Support maintenance during startups and changes.
• Oversee outside contractors for projects.
• Execute capital projects per investment plan and schedule.
• Coordinate with finance to manage spending and project closeout.
• Support SOP creation and sustainability.
