Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a seasoned Process Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing process improvements across production lines, driving Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to achieve cost-efficient, high-quality output.

You will mentor engineers, manage projects, collaborate with R&D, QA, and maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering reports on performance improvements and KPI trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
• 8–10 years in process engineering in manufacturing; 3–5 years in leadership.
• Proven track record of process improvements and cost benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of process engineers.
• Oversee design and implementation of new processes and equipment.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for efficiency.
• Drive lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for process performance.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, QA, and maintenance.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Generate reports and present improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
