Job summary

State Industrial Products Corporation in Alabama is seeking a Process Engineer to drive improvements across Manufacturing and Operations while adhering to safety rules and ISO procedures. You will analyze processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to boost efficiency and quality.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 3–5 years in manufacturing, and strong communication. Experience with SAP, AutoCAD, Six Sigma, and P&ID design is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
• Experience in R&D, Operations, Regulatory and Finance, preferred.
• Strong written & verbal communication.
• Ability to create/design P&ID diagrams and ISO procedures.
• Excellent problem solving & decision making skills.
• Trouble-shoot quality problems and process issues.
• Familiar with six sigma/lean manufacturing techniques.
• Computer skills ( SAP, AutoCAD, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Trouble-shoot process and quality issues with formula processing within Manufacturing.
• Identify operational opportunities and propose changes to upgrade, improve or streamline processes and facilities within the SIP network.
• Source new equipment as needed.
• Develop specifications for new packaging.
• Drive measurable results and impact of process changes.
• Follow established ISO Procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned.
