Job summary

M&H Valve Company is a world-class manufacturer of water and wastewater components, based in Birmingham, AL. The Process Engineer will partner with production teams to improve processes, reduce waste, and maintain safety and quality across operations.

This role emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and applying modern machining techniques to support new products and prints with guidance from Engineering and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or significant experience within M&H.
• +3 years in CNC and/or Manual Assembly environments preferred.
• Experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and SPC is preferred.
• Experience leading teams or initiatives without direct supervisory authority is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Production Management to drive continual improvements in production processes, equipment, and overall efficiency.
• Troubleshoot CNC and manual machine issues.
• Design and implement equipment solutions for greater efficiency and error-proofing.
• Perform process and equipment validations with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
• Support the introduction of new processes, products, and prints by providing training and guidance.
• Aid in new product development projects by providing manufacturing feasibility analysis and technical guidance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

+3 years CNC/Manual Assembly experience
