Job summary

M&H Valve Company, a Birmingham, AL area manufacturer, seeks a Machine Shop Supervisor to lead CNC and conventional machining operations. You will guide team members, ensure safety, and uphold quality processes in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily operations, interpreting blueprints, and mentoring staff to meet production schedules while maintaining records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
• Proficiency in CNC operations required.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of team members in the Machine Shop.
• Oversees day-to-day functions supporting the operation.
• Ensures quality processes are in place and effective.
• Communicates safety standards to employees for clarity.
• Interprets specifications and blueprints to workers and assigns duties.
• Maintains time and production records and production packets.
