Job summary

Maker's Pride seeks a Process Engineer to support Operations with data-driven problem solving and countermeasure implementation aimed at improving process capability and sustainability while upholding safety and quality standards. You will analyze root causes, develop capital project feedback, and assist in budgeting and quoting for new business.

The role requires leading process improvements, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring documentation aligns with HPS and GMP requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
  • 3–5 years in Process Improvement/Lean manufacturing.
  • Experience with GMPs, HACCP, SQF; 5S preferred.
  • TPM/Kaizen or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize processes across manufacturing areas.
  • Drive cost reductions, safety, quality and throughput improvements.
  • Assess processes, measure, interpret data and report to management.
  • Develop data collection methods and document best practices.
  • Support capital projects and equipment commissioning with project teams.
  • Collaborate with QA, maintenance and operations to sustain improvements.
  • Train teams on new processes and monitor PM programs for reliability.
  • Maintain GMP compliance and adherence to HACCP/SQF standards.
