Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Automation experience (robots, vision systems, packaging, etc.).
• Familiar with Quality Management Systems, ISO9001:2015 or similar.
• Willing to travel occasionally (<10%).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily engineering support to manufacturing operations to resolve schedule attainment and improve efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to improve cost, quality, service, throughput, and yield within assigned areas.
• Support process safety and operational risk assessments.
• Evaluate capital planning needs and support equipment upgrades, modifications, and technology investments.
• Lead new equipment installations and existing equipment modifications.
• Implement new equipment processes and procedures.
• Liaison with suppliers, customers, and R&D staff.
• Create drawings for tooling modification and gage design.
• Support new product launches.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute process trials, experiments, and data-driven improvement projects.
• Document technical findings, communicate recommendations clearly, and contribute to team decisions.
• Troubleshoot robotics.
