Job summary

The role requires a BS in engineering, 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, and strong lean, ERP, and CAD skills. The position is onsite with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial).
• Minimum 7 years in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Experience leading large projects in a manufacturing facility.
• Proven coaching and development of subordinates.
• Strong lean manufacturing knowledge incl. 7 Wastes, 6S, TAKT time, SMED, Standard Work, Flow.
• Experience with Fabrication, Weld/Fit, metal forming processes and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy manufacturing processes that maximize safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Document standardized processes that are stable and predictive.
• Coach and mentor the Engineering team for continuous improvement across plant value streams.
• Drive productivity projects and capital equipment/tooling improvement initiatives.
• Support day-to-day processes (methods, tooling, equipment, problem solving) and collaborate with supervisors and other groups to resolve issues.
• Lead APQP deliverables, tooling concepts, quotations, process development, qualification and approvals.
