Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Process Engineer for a growing, industry-leading manufacturer. You’ll serve as the technical expert for manufacturing processes, working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Program Management to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure successful product launches.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Plastics Engineering, and 3+ years of high-volume production experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Plastics Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Experience with injection molding and automotive quality systems (APQP/PPAP/PFMEA/Control Plans).

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Support new product launches from concept through production, including process development and validation.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues using root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, scrap, and improve OEE.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities to improve process capability.
• Lead documentation, work instructions, and control plans.
• Collaborate across Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and PM.
• Support equipment selection, automation projects, and future capacity planning.
• Lead engineering changes, tooling improvements, and process validation activities.
• Train production personnel on process standards and best practices.
