Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive new product development, manufacturing innovation, and process improvements across our US and India operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in mechanical design and product launch.
• Experience with APQP and quality planning methodologies is required.
• Knowledge of DOE principles and application to product development is essential.
• Solid CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks, is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to align on technical requirements.
• Lead product launches from concept through production using APQP methods.
• Improve tooling, processes, and manufacturing methods to boost efficiency and quality.
• Drive continuous improvement and coordinate US-India project activities.
• Perform testing, verification, and validation to meet specs.
